Dedication

This website is dedicated to the researchers who have, through dedication and persistance, collectively, accumulated an overwhelming amount of evidence to establish the existance of unclassified bipedal, manlike creatures commonly known as bigfoot or sasquatch, and to those thousands who have come forth with testamonials, inspite of creating uncomfortable conditions for themselves and families, especially people with high profile positions, such as law enforcement, forestry service, and scientists themselves, who face possible competancy tests, phsycological evaluations, and loss of promotions or employment simply by stateing what they believe to be the truth. In the late 50s and earl 60s the doors for serious research into the bigfoot phenomena was opened up by such researchers as Rene Dahinden, John Green, Bob Titmus, and Peter Byrne, who became known as ” The Four Horsemen.”

Little did they know at the time that they were opening the door for research into one of the most perplexing, biological mysteries of all time, that would be a life long quest in searching for answers to this anomaly with many who would follow, not only getting the envolvement of lay people but an ever growing number of scientists as well. The researchers in this field can be as interesting as the subject matter itself. Stubborn, independent, opinionated, skeptical, scientifc, tenacious, dedicated, and persistant in their quest to find the answers. Inspite of being stereotyped by the increduously naïve, as ”WIERDOS” and ”KOOKS”. To the contrary many of the bigfoot researchers come from an impressive variety of back grounds, from engineers, law enforcement, forestry workers, military personal, and the many sciences of anthropology, primatology, and zoology to name a few. The discriptions here in are not to be taken as a reflection of myself , for this has been an on going hobby more or less from a very early age.

I’ve become as fascinated with the researchers as I have the subject matter itself. Meeting some of the most interesting people you can imagine, including skeptics who researched the researchers only to find to their astonishment that everything they thought they knew about this subject was wrong and that as unbelieveable as it sounds that it is most likely, that unknown , hairy , upright walking, man like creatures do exist and are surviving quite well across North America and indeed , the world , without the people in general or the scientific establishment being aware of it. Though this site’s focus is on the phenomena of ”BIGFOOT”, a reality to thousands of individuals and cultures around the world by many different names the dedication goes to the researcher, who , with shear fortitude and perserverance, is making progress in reversing the ignorance of this subject and estalishing it as a credible science against an onslaught of prejudice and misinformation, establishing that there is real substance. I am grateful to the many researchers who unselfishly, have shared their information and experiences and in return allowing me to share with those who are curious enough to enter a world of the unknown, welcome to the world of BIGFOOT!
